The HOW TO’s with Audacity.

As an audiobook narrator and producer on ACX, you are responsible for delivering a high quality, well edited and mastered audiobook recording.

Who is this course for?

This advanced training video is for audiobook narrators that already have the following:

1. Completed their voice over training.
2. Have an active ACX account.
3. They have their own professional home recording studio.
4. And a Basic knowledge of the audio recording application Audacity.

This course will teach you the requirements and the process to submit for auditions and audiobooks in accordance to ACX standards using Audacity.

Topics include:

1. Understanding ACX audio submission requirements
2. The audition process.
3. Setting up your session.
4. Recording techniques (punch and roll).
5. Editing (PunchCopyPaste).
6. Mastering (Using Audacity’s own plug-ins and ACX-check).
7. Submitting Auditions, The 15-minute Checkpoint and final upload.
